Where is Crosby?
He hasnt played in forever! When he first got hurt I figured he would be out a few weeks at the most but this is getting ridiculous. Does he really have a concussion or is there something more serious going on. Some of the rumors I have heard are that he has a brain injury and he has a tumor in his spine. This are probably not true but I am starting to wonder if there isn't something more serious going on with him.

I also heard rumors that Sid suffered an injury to his brain and may be out for a long time, maybe even forever. But I do not believe these rumors because Sid has worked his entire life to get this far and I don't see him throwing all that away even if is injury is serious. I think the Pens are just making sure he is completely healthy before his return to the team.
ReplyDeleteThe type of concussion he suffered warranted more evaluation and recovery time, that's all. The retirement rumors were dispelled by his dad almost immediately. Good news now though, Crosby joined the Pens in Florida for their short road trip and is participating in no contact practice and pre game skates with them. He might be back by the playoffs, they just want the best player in the world to be completely alright by his return so he cannot further injure himself.
